Caring for Inmates at Port Harcourt Correctional Centre – December 6

🏛️ Port Harcourt Correctional Centre

Today, our team at International Prisons Ministry Nigeria visited the Port Harcourt Correctional Centre, sharing food, encouragement, and the love of Christ with the inmates. It was a powerful reminder that even small acts of compassion can carry immense meaning for those often forgotten.

As Matthew 25:44–45 (TPT) reminds us:
“And then those on his left will say, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty and not give you food and something to drink? When did we see you homeless or poorly clothed? When did we see you sick and not help you, or in prison and not visit you?’
Then he will answer them, ‘Don’t you know? When you refused to help one of the least important among these my little ones, my true brothers and sisters, you refused to help and honor me. ’”

Every meal shared, every kind word spoken, and every moment of presence is a way of honoring Christ Himself. We are grateful for our team and supporters who make these visits possible, bringing both practical help and hope to those behind bars.
